Now around the world, work is even more dangerous than ever as many workers also face extra threats from war and climate change. And Covid still casts a long shadow.

You are welcome to bring Trade Union banners and wreaths.

Speakers include:
– Shelly Asquith, national TUC Health, Safety & Wellbeing Policy Officer
– a Palestinian speaker on workers killed at work
– Darren Westwood, GMB, Amazon striker
– Rob Johnson, Midlands TUC
– Neil Bishop, Asbestos Support Central England

Organised by Birmingham Trades Union Council and the Central England Hazards Trust

*Please note that the official International Workers Memorial Day is on Sunday the 28th of April. We are holding our commemoration a day earlier.
